Diets Don t Work
Trying to lose weight on a diet is like trying to get somewhere riding a stationary bike, it’s not going to happen. It seems like a silly thing to say but eating a certain amount isn’t the culprit to weight gain. If you think about it, when you diet you are starving yourself in some way, no matter which diet you follow. And most diets people aren’t planning on staying with for the rest of their lives. It’s dieting until the weight loss has been achieved and then back to normal eating.

Well that is not going to work. You only take in so many calories, or eat only certain foods when you diet. Once you go back to eating normal, you’re going to gain back because your body can’t handle the foods it has been deprived while you were dieting. The body is designed to work while eating just about everything there is. It wouldn’t have survived for as many years as it has if that wasn’t the case. So trying to change your habits to get rid of unwanted weight and then going back to normal defeats the purpose. It takes a lifestyle change to lose weight. Many diets people can’t stick to for extended periods of time because being on them deprives people of nutrients they need to move. So people fail and think they are terrible for not staying on a diet. But that is not anyone’s fault. No diet is for life because of the things you can’t have while on it. So learning how to eat properly is the key to success. Any normal person can learn how to eat what they want and get and stay thin throughout their entire lives, as long as they have the proper tools to do so.
